Play and Learning Support (PALS) is a charity based in North Lanarkshire and currently has over 90 member families. PALS provides assistance to a range of families with children, aged 0-18 years, who have Additional Support Needs. PALS+ supports young people aged 17-21 years
PALS runs activity sessions each week. These sessions include Stay & Play, Bookbug with Makaton, Thrive Tribe (10-18 years), Access to swimming, Dance and Soft Play. We also continue to run activities and events during school holidays and some weekends. These include canal trips, trampoline parks, sensory rooms, soft play, farm parks, paddleboarding, tubing, gaming events and seasonal parties
We operate a number of weekly activities and offer interested new members the opportunity to try one of our weekly activities free of charge for the first session before you decide to join
Parent/carers are responsible to supervise all children at all activities
For the families that attend PALS we provide an environment where the children can relax and be themselves
PALS+ promotes the same values and aims for all the young people involved to have fun, learn, socialise and be their true selves. Click the PALS+ option above for more information
